The Woods Are Dark

"The Woods Are Dark" by Richard Laymon is the first book I have read by this author. He doesn't spend a lot of time leading up to the main action but jumps right in. It is a simple and fast read about a group of people who go to the wrong town and end up shackled to trees as "lunch" for a group of primitive people.
