The Great Quake: How the Biggest Earthquake in North America Changed Our Understanding of the Planet

I have always enjoyed non fiction books about earthquakes, volcanoes, and other various types of natural disasters. I remember reading about the Alaska earthquake but this book gives more detailed insight into effects on people, science and the earthquake itself. It is well written but not too technical. I really highly recommend this one. I received a copy of this book from the publishers via Netgalley for free in exchange for my honest review.
